    1. The course is open to all students who have reached the age of seventeen by the beginning of the course and who have completed at least high school junior year or equivalent.

    2. The application form must be completed in full, including both sections of the personal statement.

    3. A deposit of $400 is payable with the application, refundable only if the student is not accepted. Course fees are payable in full by 15 May. For enrolments after this date, fees are payable upon acceptance. We cannot hold a student's place if fees have not paid in full. Fees are only refundable in exceptional circumstances.

    4. Medical Insurance is mandatory and policy details should be submitted with final documentation. Students are strongly advised to take out insurance to meet any loss of fees due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance is also recommended. Students are responsible for organising their own insurance.

    5. The course organisers shall not be liable for any injury to students or loss or damage to their personal property however caused. A form of indemnification must be signed by each student and his or her parents. Enrolment cannot be finalised until these formalities have been completed; we will send the relevant forms to complete online by April 2016.

    6. We will pass on any charges for damage caused by students to college property, also for costs incurred for lost or damaged keys.

    7. Students are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid visa to enter the UK. No refund can be made if a student fails to meet immigration requirements.

    8. We reserve the right to suspend any student whose standard of conduct is unsatisfactory and in extreme cases, or where conduct does not improve, to dismiss the student. We will not be liable for any resulting costs.

    9. We reserve the right to change or cancel individual elements of the program, to alter the cultural visits or to change any other aspects of the program as circumstances dictate.

    10. It is very helpful to be able to use student photographs or names for marketing purposes. Any student or parent who wishes to withhold permission should contact us in writing.
