Students can choose one of the following career paths to explore:
Young Professionals combines professional skills tuition with a choice of vocational disciplines. Students choose one subject per 2-week course and receive specialist tuition which provides an opportunity to discover potential career options.
âYoung Professionalsâ receive a variety of teaching styles, including theory lessons, practical sessions and group project work. Two full-day excursions are also provided each week, including an online âStudy-in-Actionâ seminar related to a studentâs chosen specialism.
The social programme and weekly excursions are all designed to link with the academic syllabus each week. Students are always busy and having fun inside and outside the classroom with the extensive social programme of local activities and visits to places of interest.
To ensure our students have fun, make friends and get to know the UK, we have an exciting programme of on-site activities and days out. Days out of the school are split into two types: âexcursionsâ and âstudy-in-action daysâ. Study-in-action days take the learning outside the classroom. Students visit destinations related to their course that provide real-life experiences connecting practice and profession. Excursions are a fun way for students to visit famous landmarks and attractions with all students attending a Young Professionals course, providing an opportunity for students to mix with others from different subject streams.
From pizza nights, quizzes, and t-shirt designing competitions, to excursions to see Banksy’s art in Bristol or visit the Royal Crescent in the City of Bath, our Young Professionals have a fun-filled activities calendar.

dâOverbroeckâs is a highly successful and well respected British day and boarding school in Oxford. Located to the north of the city centre, dâOverbroeckâs state-of-the-art sixth form centre opened in September 2017 with first-rate teaching facilities. The courses are fully-residential within the college and breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided (packed lunches on excursion days). Teaching and course activities take place within the college and at other local venues. The medieval city of Oxford revolves around the prestigious University of Oxford. Since the arrival of the Saxons, the buildings demonstrate English architectural periods including the mid-18th century Radcliffe Camera.
Consistently ranked among the top co-educational boarding schools in the UK, dâOverbroeckâs was first founded in 1977 by Malcolm van Biervliet (the name âdâOverbroeckâ comes from a part of his family name, which has Flemish origins). The school quickly established itself as a forward-thinking and highly-successful boarding school with a reputation for high-quality academic tuition.
Situated in three of dâOverbroeckâs boarding houses, the accommodation consists of single bedrooms with separate male and female. There is a laundry room in the boarding house free of charge.
The course includes airport transfers on the day of arrivals and departure and there is a travel insurance provision.
Part of the âEton Groupâ, Tonbridge School is one of the most exclusive and prestigious independent boarding schools in the country. It hosts Young Professionals UK with subjects available in: Digital Marketing & Communications, Business & Enterprise, Forensic Science & Criminology, International Relations and our new course in Sports Science & Nutrition.
Situated just to the north of Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge School is located on the edge of the quaint market town Tonbridge, less than an hourâs drive from London. During studentsâ free time, they are welcome to sign out of the school in small groups to explore Tonbridgeâs selection of shops and cafĂ©s or relax by the River Medway that runs through its centre.
Accommodation is provided in single or twin bedrooms with separate male and female accommodation and bathrooms are shared between 4-6 students. Laundry is available onsite and free of charge. Students take residence in one of the schoolâs boarding houses, equipped with a games room, cinema room and social areas.
