Each subject syllabus is designed and taught by experts, with experience working in their field, often with an academic background from top universities for each subject. Our tutors care about the futures of each participant and will make sure that their learning is targeted to them.

Practical Learning

One of the most popular aspects of the course is the opportunity to receive hands-on, practical experience in a chosen subject area. Examples include dissections in Medicine, robotic arm building in Engineering or visiting a courtroom for Law.

1:1 Career Coaching

Participants receive weekly 1:1 mentor sessions with their career coach, who will make sure each individual is progressing as desired and receiving tailored feedback and support on their professional development.

Real-World Project

With the support of expert tutors, all participants on the Career Insights programme complete a project during their course. With expert panels and workshops to support their progress, teams work towards a final presentation of their project to industry professionals.

Industry Visits

Students will immerse themselves in their subject of interest through unique industry visits to sites like RISE Barclays and London Business School for our Business Management Programme, and a tour of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on our Engineering Course. Academic Credit

Academic credit may be available for four-week courses. If you would like to be awarded credit for attending the programme we must liaise with your school to satisfy its criteria and arrange the credit before you arrive in the UK. We communicate directly with your school to ensure that the subject material and delivery fit with specific requirements. Students who wish to receive a credit transfer should consult their school guidance counsellor.

Every student takes home a certificate of attendance, along with a full report card written by the Course Director and tutors. Reports include an assessment of progress and achievement as well as suggestions for consolidation and further studies. We can send a copy of the certificate and report card to your school as proof of academic achievement.

Higher Education

The academic work undertaken during the programme provide an excellent foretaste of college level study, helping students make the transition to a more independent, and self-motivated learning style. A summer programme taken in Oxford, Cambridge or UCL in London is always an impressive addition to a college application, and can make a big difference in the competitive selection process.

Increasing numbers of students are interested in applying to a British university. Specific guidance on applying through the UCAS system can be arranged upon request.

There will be walking tours of the city, a Thames River cruise, as well as activities in the evenings, including a visit to a West End show like Wicked or The Lion King.
