Criminology – Academic Insights

A significant part of the programme will focus on understanding the criminal justice system, including its theories, policies, and practices, and how these impact how we respond to crime and help victims. Students will also learn about the history and evolution of policing, its ethical considerations, and how it relates to diversity in society. We will address social inequalities, particularly looking at how economic disparities can lead to criminal behaviour.
