In this comprehensive law course, students will learn all about the different kinds of laws, from Constitutional Law, Tort Law, Human Rights Law, European Union Law, Public International Law, looking at the legal profession as it presently exists in England & Wales. With guidance from the tutor, each student will have the opportunity to practice cross-examining a witness, take part in a mock trial, taking up various roles from judge, to members of the jury. Students will look at the skills and attributes of a successful lawyer and the opportunities that exist to both develop and showcase these qualities. Particular attention will be given to critical thinking skills and the ability to deliver a well-constructed argument. The perfect course for all budding lawyers out there!
