In this comprehensive medicine course, students will look at all aspects of this very broad topic: from medical research, the field of epigenetic, anatomy and histology, to different physiologies applied to cardiovascular, respiratory, muscular skeletal and endocrine, the effects of drug pharmacology, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and toxicology; the role of different healthcare professionals in emergency medicine, through patient simulation clinical scenarios by putting their knowledge into practice. Participants will look at the use of technology in modern medicine, the development of stem cell therapies for incurable diseases, and the use of 3D printers to create new body parts. Students will also look at communication through journals and papers, and how to educate or better communicate with the general public, especially in the light of the pandemic.
