Go Abroad interviews our registrar, Ruth

We are delighted that Go Abroad have done a staff interview with Ruth.

In the interview Ruth tells us that “giving young people the encouragement to travel and expand their horizons” inspired her to work in education and for Campus Oxford.

She goes on to talk about her role at Campus Oxford, a typical day at work, her favourite part “The connections and friendships they develop in the programs are a pleasure to see”.

When asked why someone should choose Campus Oxford over other agencies, Ruth is very candid saying that as a company, we work with the student “as if we were planning for our children”

Ruth also discusses the importance of travelling abroad and experiencing new cultures “Social contact with people from other cultures expands understanding of other ways to live and behave” and when asked about ‘meaningful travel’, she concludes “Sharing a moment during the journey or in retrospect keeps the memory meaningful”.
